Building Survey/Structural Survey
CGA Consulting Engineers are indemnified by €1.3 million of professional indemnity insurance and €650.000 public liability insurance. We are qualified to perform site visits and inspect properties to generate a report on the structural stability of the property.
A structural report/pre-purchase survey is an internal and external inspection of a property to determine its condition at the pre-purchase stage. A structural report/pre-purchase survey identifies any defects or compliance issues with the property being purchased. CGA Consulting Engineers will complete the survey within seven working days following receipt of a written instruction from the client to carry out the structural report/pre-purchase survey. We also offer a professional snag list service on newly built properties.
Certificates of Compliance/Opinion on Compliance with the Building and Planning Regulations
A Certificate of Compliance with the Building and Planning Regulations is required for all new build work and for all alterations, additions or extension work to an existing property to ensure that all works have been carried out in accordance with the Planning and Building Regulations.
If you do not have a Certificate of Compliance with the Building and Planning Regulations for renovations to your property, we will complete the Opinion on Compliance with the Building and Planning Regulations after the completion of the project and is based on a visual inspection of the works
Property and Boundary Maps
Land Registry Compliant Mapping for Domestic, Commercial and Agricultural Properties. Maps are generated in compliance with Property Regulation Authority Ireland.
Planning Permission/Retention Planning Application
Planning Permission and Retention Planning Applications are completed by CGA Consulting Engineers and are submitted to the local authorities on behalf of clients nationwide.
